Documentation

My career in Technical Documentation started at Plessey when I had to write various Requirement Specifications, Implementation Specifications, Test Specifications, and then the User Manual for the entire signal processing system for which I had been the Design Authority – which took several weeks!

My conviction that the definition and management of requirements is a key component of project success has led to the creation of many such documents over the following years and in all the companies I worked for.

In addition to these requirement specifications I have often also ended up creating the technical documentation and user manuals for may of the systems I have worked on.

Clearly the documents I have created can not be shared on a public website so it’s difficult to provide examples here.
